Up to forth leaf
Hand-plucked from Yunnan Kang No. 10 trees, which stand tall at elevations between 1500 and 2200 meters above sea level, the leaves are carefully selected for their youth and vitality. These trees, though only 20 years old, are part of an ancient lineage, nurtured to produce leaves that are small, tender, and rich in flavor. The golden buds, a hallmark of quality, are meticulously processed and aged for two years, a practice that deepens the tea’s complexity and infuses it with a profound richness.
When you brew a cup of Gong Ting puerh, you are met with a deep, dark infusion that exudes an earthy aroma with hints of cocoa and wood. The flavor unfolds like a well-written novel, starting with a smooth, velvety texture that gives way to notes of dark chocolate, sweet dates, and a subtle smokiness. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a warmth that wraps around you like a comforting embrace.
Dark chocolate truffles
The rich, bittersweet flavor of dark chocolate enhances the deep, earthy notes of the Gong Ting puerh, while the smooth texture of the truffles mirrors the tea's velvety mouthfeel.
Roasted duck with plum sauce
The savory, umami-rich duck pairs beautifully with the complex layers of the puerh, and the sweet-tart plum sauce echoes the tea's subtle sweetness, creating a harmonious balance.
Mature cheddar or gouda
The sharp, nutty flavors of mature cheese contrast with the tea’s earthy tones, while their creamy texture complements the tea’s smooth finish.
