Tea story
Keemun maofeng, one of China's most elegant black teas, hails from Qimen County in Anhui Province, a region renowned for producing refined and aromatic red teas.
First crafted in the 19th century by a failed civil servant seeking fortune in tea, Keemun quickly became a prized export, even earning favor in British afternoon tea blends. This maofeng grade is made from young, wiry leaves, carefully withered, rolled, oxidized, and slow-fired to enhance its signature honeyed and subtly spicy character.
A masterpiece of Chinese tea craftsmanship, it embodies tradition and delicate complexity.
