Tokoname Earth Maru | Kyusu Teapot
€60.00
/
This elegantly simple kyusu teapot from the Shoko Kiln of Tokoname is crafted from beautiful earth-brown clay into a graceful round shape, featuring an embedded steel mesh perfect for steeping fukamushicha.
The teapot is left unglazed but high-temperature fired (yakijime), which allows it to absorb some of the bitterness from your tea, resulting in a more rounded flavor profile. Over the years, expect the pot to age and develop a rich brownish hue, a testament to your refined tea connoisseurship.
320 ml.
