About

HARIO has been working with heatproof glass since 1921, creating clean and functional glassware for tea, coffee and daily rituals.

The Clear Teapot is designed around ease. Instead of a removable basket, it has a built-in filter that allows you to pour tea directly without taking off the lid. This makes it especially comfortable for relaxed everyday brewing: add the leaves, pour in hot water, let the tea open, and serve.

The transparent glass body is part of the pleasure. You can see the leaves move, the colour develop, and the tea become ready in front of you. This is useful for brewing, but also beautiful on the table — especially with green tea, floral blends, citrus infusions, or fresh herbs.

The 700 ml size is generous, making it ideal for sharing tea between several people or preparing a larger pot for yourself throughout the day. It works well for loose leaf tea, herbal infusions, rooibos, fruit blends, and cold tea experiments.

Simple, spacious and easy to use — a practical glass teapot for making loose leaf tea feel natural at home.

Use & Care

How to Use

Add loose leaf tea directly into the teapot. Pour in hot water at the temperature recommended for your tea and let it steep.

When the tea is ready, pour through the built-in filter without removing the lid. For the cleanest flavour, pour fully after brewing so the leaves do not continue steeping in the remaining water.

The 700 ml size is ideal for sharing tea, brewing herbal infusions, or making a larger pot for the table.

How to Care

Remove used tea leaves after brewing.
Rinse the teapot and filter after use.
Wash gently with mild dish soap.
Hand wash recommended, especially around the spout and filter.
Do not place on direct flame, in the oven, or under the grill.
Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes.
Dry well before storing.
