Meet our matcha shortlist
Rather than creating another matcha label, we work as tea sommeliers: tasting matcha from trusted Japanese farmers, comparing varieties, flavors, textures.
Some are soft and creamy, others bright, deep, or rich in umami. Each has its own character and a clear place in the collection. In The Matcha Shortlist: How We Chose This Season’s Matcha, we share the tasting process behind this season’s selection.

Made to be refilled
Our matcha comes in black UV-treated glass jars with a tight screw lid to help protect it from light and air — two things that quickly flatten its flavor. The jars are dishwasher-safe and made to be reused again and again.
When you find your favourite matcha, you can simply buy a refill: better value for you, and gentler on the planet.

For silky foam
Choose a chasen with more fine prongs if you love usucha, iced matcha, or a soft layer of foam on top.
Best for: pure matcha, fine foam, lighter texture.
For creamy lattes
Choose a chasen with fewer prongs if you mostly make matcha lattes. It is sturdier and helps mix the powder into a smooth paste before milk.
Best for: matcha latte, thicker paste, daily mixing.
