Tea Story

Sencha of the Summer Sun is a summer-harvest sencha from Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms in Wazuka, Kyoto. The unshaded Yabukita plants grow in full sunlight, and the leaves are harvested in July.

After picking, the leaves are lightly steamed, rolled, and dried. This summer sencha has a refreshing astringency and a lingering floral finish. Enjoy it hot or cold, especially after a meal.
