Lushan or 'Cloud Mist' green tea was originally cultivated in Buddhist temples, earning it the name 'Buddhist Tea.'

Characterized by stout tea buds covered in white fuzz, Lu Shan Yun Wu features tightly curled dry leaves. Its taste is sweet with a long-lasting aftertaste and a fresh, clean mouthfeel, reminiscent of tea leaves grown on high mountains.

High above the rolling mist of Lushan Mountain, where clouds embrace the peaks and veil the landscape in an ethereal hush, monks once tended to tea gardens in temple courtyards. Known as Buddhist Tea, Cloud Mist or Lushan Yun Wu has been cultivated for centuries, nurtured in a climate where fog and mist filter the sunlight, slowing growth and concentrating the tea’s natural sweetness.

The delicate, downy buds and curled leaves of this tea are hand-picked in early spring, just as new growth emerges. The leaves undergo a meticulous pan-firing process, locking in their signature smoothness while preserving a fresh, dewy sweetness. This high-mountain cultivation and careful processing result in a tea that feels almost weightless on the palate — soft, lingering, and cooling, like mist rolling through ancient temple grounds.
