Tea Story

In the Cederberg mountains, rooibos grows in dry, mineral soil under strong sun, developing its natural sweetness over time. Unlike tea, it carries no bitterness, which makes it particularly suited for blending.

Lemon is often paired with black tea, but with rooibos it behaves differently. Instead of cutting through tannins, it lifts the tea’s natural sweetness — bringing it closer to something familiar, like citrus and honey.

In this blend, lemongrass and lemon notes sit lightly over the base, not sharp or sour, but bright enough to shift the profile. The rooibos remains present throughout — warm, soft, and steady — while the citrus moves through it, adding freshness without weight.

The result is simple and direct: a tea that can be brewed strong or light, taken hot or cold, without losing its balance.
