The One Cup Tea Maker is made for exactly what the name says: one cup of loose leaf tea, without needing a full teapot. Add tea to the strainer, pour in hot water, cover with the lid, and let it steep. When the tea is ready, lift out the strainer and place it on the flipped lid, which becomes a small tray.

This makes it especially useful for daily tea moments: a cup of sencha in the morning, black tea in the afternoon, herbal tea before bed, or a simple infusion while working. The clear glass lets you see the colour of the tea as it brews, while the compact size keeps the ritual easy and unfussy.

Use & Care

How to Use

Add loose leaf tea to the removable strainer. Place the strainer inside the glass cup and pour in hot water at the temperature recommended for your tea.

Cover with the lid while the tea steeps. When ready, remove the strainer and place it on the flipped lid, using it as a tray.

How to Care

Remove used tea leaves after brewing.
Rinse the cup, strainer and lid after use.
Wash gently with mild dish soap.
Dishwasher safe.
Microwave safe according to HARIO.
Do not place on direct flame, in the oven, or under the grill.
Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes.
Dry all parts well before storing.
