About

HARIO has been making heatproof glassware since 1921, creating simple and functional objects for tea, coffee and everyday use.

The Cha Cha Natsume is one of HARIO’s most practical teapots: clear, lightweight, and very easy to handle. The glass body lets you watch the leaves open and the infusion change colour, which makes brewing feel more intuitive — you can see when the tea becomes light, golden, green, amber, or deep enough to pour.

The teapot comes with a large removable tea strainer. Its generous size gives the leaves space to move, while the mesh helps prevent clogging as you pour. The wide opening also makes the pot easy to clean all the way to the bottom, which is especially useful for daily use.

The 360 ml size works well for one generous tea session or for sharing a few small cups. It is suitable for Japanese green tea, Chinese tea, black tea, white tea, oolong, rooibos, and herbal blends. A clean, honest teapot for people who want loose leaf tea to feel beautiful but uncomplicated.

Use & Care

How to Use

Add loose leaf tea to the removable strainer. Pour in hot water at the temperature recommended for your tea and let it steep.

For Japanese green tea, use cooler water and a shorter infusion. For oolong, black tea or herbal infusions, adjust the temperature and steeping time according to the tea.

Remove the strainer or pour the tea fully after brewing to keep the flavour clean and balanced. The 360 ml size is ideal for one person or for sharing several small cups.

Microwave safe for the glass pot only — remove the lid and tea strainer before microwaving.
