About

Many teapots place the leaves inside a metal basket. This one leaves the centre of the vessel open. The tea brews directly in the glass pot, giving rolled oolong, whole-leaf black tea and larger herbal ingredients room to expand.

The filter is built into the pouring spout rather than suspended inside the water. As the pot tilts, it holds the leaves back while the finished infusion passes through. The lid can remain in place, making the movement from steeping to serving simple and controlled.

Heatproof glass changes the way tea is observed. You can see dry leaves begin to loosen, watch them rise and settle, and decide when to pour by colour as well as time. The smooth surface also keeps the pot versatile, allowing it to move between green tea, oolong, black tea and herbal infusions without holding on to their aromas.

The 450 ml version suits one or two cups. The 700 ml version gives more room for shared tea, large leaves or drinks prepared with fruit and herbs. Both retain the same uncluttered form and easy filtered pour.

Use & Care

How to Use

Warm the pot with hot water, then empty it. Add loose tea leaves directly to the glass body and pour in water at the temperature recommended for your tea.

Replace the lid and allow the leaves to infuse. Pour with the lid in place; the filter inside the spout will hold back the leaves. Empty the full infusion when possible so the tea does not continue becoming stronger.

How to Care

Separate the glass pot, pouring spout and silicone filter and rinse them shortly after use. Wash with mild dish soap and a soft sponge, paying attention to the filter.

Only the heatproof glass pot should be placed in a microwave, with all resin and silicone components removed. Do not place the teapot over direct heat or in an oven. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes, and dry every part before reassembling.
