About

The gaiwan gives loose leaves space to open. Once the tea is ready, pour it into the glass fair cup to bring the infusion together before dividing it between the two cups.

White porcelain lets you see the color of the tea clearly, while the ribbed glass adds a little texture to the table. Brew the same leaves again and notice what follows: a different aroma, a softer sip or a flavor you missed the first time.

Use & Care

How to Use

Rinse the gaiwan, fair cup and teacups with warm water, then empty. Add leaves to the gaiwan and water at the temperature recommended for your tea. After steeping, leave a small gap under the lid and pour into the fair cup, then divide the tea between the cups. Brew the leaves again for another round. If you’re new to a gaiwan, practice pouring with cool water first.

How to Care

Wash gently with mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes. Let every piece dry fully before putting the set away.
