Sencha Teacup

A white porcelain cup with softly fluted sides and a gently wavy rim. Made by Miyama in Japan, it’s an easy companion for your daily sencha. Keep the teapot nearby; one cup usually leads to another.

About

Part of Miyama’s Suzune collection, this cup takes its shape from a bell. The white glaze catches the light along each curve and lets the color of your tea show clearly.

It holds about 140 ml when filled to the brim, so leave a little room for comfortable sipping. Between tea sessions, it can double as a small bowl for snacks or sauces.
