About

Use & Care

How to Use

Rinse the gaiwan and cup with warm water, then empty. Add leaves and water at the temperature recommended for your tea. After steeping, leave a small gap under the lid and pour into the cup. Empty the gaiwan between infusions. If you’re new to this way of brewing, practice pouring with cool water first.

How to Care

Wash gently by hand with mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes. Let both pieces dry fully before putting them away.
