GAIWAN
One bowl,
many infusions
A gaiwan is a lidded bowl used to brew and pour tea in short infusions. Its open form lets you see the leaves, control the pour and move easily from one steep to the next. Our collection ranges from light porcelain pieces to complete sets, with sizes suited to solo tea and sharing.

CHOOSING A GAIWAN
Size matters more
than decoration.
A smaller gaiwan gives more control and is easier for one person. A wider rim and a well-fitting lid make the first pours more comfortable, while larger sets are useful when tea is shared at the table.
ASK US ABOUT GAIWANS →Tell us whether this is your first gaiwan, which tea you plan to brew and how many cups you usually pour.
